Native to Indonesia, the yellowish or greenish pumpkin-shaped fruit of Garcinia Cambogia is also grown in parts of Asia, India and Africa. It is sometimes called a brindleberry as well as Goraka or Kattcha puli more locally. Garcinia Cambogia Extract is obtained from the rind of the fruit. The rind of the fruit is peeled, dried and then concentrated for use.
