Caralluma Fimbriata, a plant of the family Apocynaceae, is an edible succulent plant found across Asia. It has been used in India for centuries as food, raw or cooked, and as medicine. Considered a good portable food source and thirst quencher, it is said to have been used by hunters on their days out, to reduce their appetite and enhance their stamina.
